Preserving History, Inspiring the Future

The SkillsUSA Heritage Hub is a digital museum designed to celebrate and protect six decades of skilled leadership. By highlighting key moments, significant artifacts, and personal stories, the Hub connects members to a legacy of excellence and serves as a source of inspiration for generations to come.

Honoring the Legacy of Skilled Professionals

For over 60 years, SkillsUSA has empowered students to lead, innovate and excel in skilled professions. The Heritage Hub is our way of preserving and sharing that legacy — where every member, alumni, and stakeholder can connect to the stories that shaped our journey.

Josie Wolfe, Instructor and SkillsUSA Advisor

“SkillsUSA served as the catalyst to my career and was a platform that allowed me to perfect my craft and build a professional network. SkillsUSA allowed me to develop the communication, teamwork and professionalism I needed to be a leader. Remembering where we came from is part of what helps us shape the strongest future together.”

Karen Beatty, Former Staff Member, VICA and SkillsUSA

“There’s so much history of SkillsUSA from the humble beginnings in 1965 to the present day.

I am happy there are efforts to create a digital museum so past, present and future members can appreciate our history.”

Nick Peterson, alumni
Welding Engineer/Curriculum Developer Miller Electric Mfg. LLC, Wisconsin

“SkillsUSA changed the trajectory of my life through my journey to become a WorldSkills USA bronze medalist in Welding in 1993 in Taipei, Taiwan. … My SkillsUSA involvement instilled in me a deep appreciation for the dignity of work and an unwavering commitment to quality, principles that have guided my entire professional career.
